( I Will Not Sit Back and Watch My People Die )POWERS/ABILITIES: Padmé is not Force Sensitive, being just a basic human. What skills she has were learned through her early training in the Legislative Youth Program on Naboo, her tenure as Queen of Naboo and then as a Senator of said planet. She is smart, quick-witted, fearless, and a good shot with a blaster. She knows at least three different languages aside from Common, none that anyone not from her galaxy would understand however
SAMPLES: Padmé on the TDMSample #2
When was the last time she’d done her hair so elaborately without the help of one of her handmaids? It was hard to tell sometimes, considering that some of them were actually easier than they looked. And that she and the others had been doing one another’s hair for well over a decade.
Except for Cordé. She’d never forgive herself for Cordé’s senseless death, even if the woman had given her life so that Padmé might live. That wasn’t to say that the lives of Sabé, Dormé, Eirtaé and the others weren’t as equally important, but that was the first death she’d experienced while she was Senator of Naboo and in her service. It weighed the heaviest upon her, despite Panaka’s words and the knowledge that Cordé dying meant that Padmé could continue trying to help those less fortunate in the Galaxy.
Before she’d been brought here by the creatures calling themselves the “Patrons”, she’d been reacquainted with the life of those who lived on Tatooine in the Outer Rim, outside the control of the Galactic Senate and the Republic’s usual benevolent works. This world, however, was very different. None of the people looked as if they suffered and there was plenty of work for those that wanted it. While it was far from
safe, it was at least without the threat of constant war that was looming over her head on Coruscant.
In fact, if she squinted her eyes, she could almost see a bright red flower that might have belonged on Naboo in the forests close to Theed. Or a beast that looked like it could have been plucked right from the grazing fields of the Shaak in the Western Great Grass Plains. She felt a bit strange that being kidnapped by beings more powerful than Sith or Jedi made her more homesick than working for nearly six years on Coruscant with nearly no trips home could ever have done.
“Foolish thoughts,” she whispered, pinning yet another braid until it finished the elaborate crown shape on her head. With that done, she was ready to face another banquet where Twee picked some inconsequential moment of her past to use for one of his tasteless name tags.
